Veni!FOR HIS GLORY Outreach and Maison des Enfants
de Dieu is currently home to over 125 children, most who have been orphaned
due to extreme poverty. We offer a safe place, three meals per day, clean
drinking water and medical services. We offer employment to over 100 Haitian
people. We offer hope. But we still must turn away 80 children per month.
For His Glory Outreach is committed to reaching the unreached and to making
a difference in this forgotten country. There is much work to be done, but
together we can make a difference. We can make Haiti a brighter place, for
children today and for days to come. The children are the hope. We are seeking
to make 1000 friends in 100 days to make a commitment to help change the
lives of these children. $1 per day - $30 per month can literally make the
difference between life and death for these children. Won’t you join us
in this beautiful endeavor?

There was a man who was walking along a sandy beach where thousands of starfish had been washed up on the shore. As he looked down the beach he noticed a boy picking the starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean. He got closer and he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?" The boy paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing starfish in the ocean. If I don't throw them back in they will die. "The man then said, "Don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it? You can't possibly make a difference." The boy listened politely. Then he bent down, picked another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves. He looked at the man and said, "It made a difference for that one."
